Welcome to Earley Christian Fellowship (ECF) church in Reading, UK, with links to other Christian church fellowships in the UK and to friends overseas.
Meetings. The main meeting (or service) is at 10:30 am on a Sunday morning and there is a Sunday School and crèche during part of the meeting. There are also meetings on Sunday evenings at 6:30 pm (during the winter months) and at 7:00 pm (during the summer months – after the clocks change) and on Tuesday evenings (for prayer) at 7:30 pm. House groups are held every two weeks as announced. Please note that there is a T-Loop system installed in the church hall which is in use for Sunday meetings.
History. ECF began in the late 1960’s in a family home where Christians met to seek God and his purposes for their lives. When numbers increased, school assembly halls became the venue for meeting. Around 1979, ECF acquired properties on one site at 153 Wokingham Road for family homes and for fellowship use, particularly all main church meetings.
Leadership. The church is led by four elders – Mike Parting, Paul Moorcroft, Peter Cowling and Dan Towers. The legal entity under which the church functions is The Earley Charitable Trust, registered charity number 283068.
